Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the United States is an actor. Her first film appearance was in Bad Boys (1983). Following that, she joined the Bratpack group and appeared as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American actress and an author. Her film career began at the beginning of the 1980s when she appeared in the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she received a lot of praise. In the film directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown as well as Alan Ruck also appeared. Following her success in her first film she was later seen in the 1985 comedy drama The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is thought to be among the top high school film of all time. Even though the budget was $1 million its earnings crossed $50 million. Also, she began to appear in a variety of TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her debut on television. The show premiered in April of 1980. show was first aired. The show was designed for teens. The other shows she appeared in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. One of her most recent performances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story that revolves around a female superhero, in which Sheedy appears in a cameo. Sheedy for her amazing performances has won numerous awards including an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
